Operation Blau

Operation Blau was the first project for Blitzkrieg which I released publicly. Despite being a debut, it was surprisingly well acclaimed and as the time went on, Operation Blau finally made its way to the TOP10 of Blitzkrieg Portal download statistics for custom chapters and campaigns.

This custom chapter offers you 6 missions taking place during the German conquest onto the Caucasus. After two warm-up missions, you as a German commander will fight in the battle of Rostov to secure a vital bridgehead on Don and then continue up to Mozdok on the Terek river, which represented one of the most advanced positions on Caucasus that the Germans captured during their offensive. This custom chapter ends with a fierce battle of the southern parts of Stalingrad.
